QEDxQCD Exponentiation and Shower/ME Matching at the LHC

ORAL

Abstract

We present the theory of QEDxQCD exponentiation for LHC processes with an eye toward shower/ME matching. We show that we can systematically improve the attendant MC or semi-analytical results order by order in perturbation theory without double counting while treating the respective phase space exactly.
