Search for $WZ$ and $ZZ$ Production in the Dilepton Plus Dijet Final State at the Tevatron

We present a search for diboson production using $\approx$700 pb$^{-1}$ of CDF~II dilepton plus dijet data. This final state is sensitive to both $ZZ \rightarrow \ell\ell q\bar{q}$ and $ZW \rightarrow \ell\ell q\bar{q}'$ production. The signal can be discriminated from the main background of $Z$ bosons produced in association with jets using the dijet mass distribution. Observation of diboson production in this final state is an important step in the search for Higgs boson production in association with a $Z$ boson.
