Measurement of ${\cal B}(\bar{B^{0}} \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p})$ at BaBar

Abstract

We present a branching fraction measurement for the decay $\bar {B^{0}} \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p}$ in a sample of 232 million $B{\bar B}$ pairs collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II $e^+e^-$ storage rings at SLAC. Studies of these charmed baryonic $B$ decays provide a way to check various theoretical models and aid in predicting the branching fractions of their charmless counterparts.
