Delta Radiative Decay in the MiniBooNE Experiment

POSTER

Abstract

The MiniBooNE experiment at Fermilab is a $\nu_\mu \rightarrow \nu_e$ oscillation search. A signal event (an electron and excited neucleon from a neutrino which oscillated) is expected only a few hundered times thoughout the neutrino run. The rare radiative decay of the delta resonance occurs with similar frequency. It is similarly identified by an electromagnetic signal, in this case from photon conversion, and an excited nucleon.
