Perturbations of a Reissner-Nordstrom black hole by a charged massive particle at rest

Abstract
A new perturbative solution describing a two-body system consisting of a Reissner-Nordstrom black hole and a charged massive particle at rest is presented. The general properties of the perturbed metric, completely reconstructed analytically, are discussed. The perturbed electromagnetic field is also analyzed by plotting the associated lines of force.
