Study of the decay $B^\pm\to K_S^0 \pi^\pm\pi^0$ at Babar

Abstract

The charmless 3-body decay $B^\pm\to K_S^0 \pi^\pm\pi^0$ is studied by using a sample of approximately 350 million $B$-meson pairs recorded at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II $B$ Factory at SLAC. A Dalitz plot analysis is used to infer the amplitudes and phases in decays involving intermediate resonances as well as non-resonant decays.
