On the dyadotorus

ORAL

Abstract

The ``dyadotorus'' is defined as the region around a Kerr-Newman black hole where pair creation by vacuum polarization occurs. This concept extends to the case of stationary geometries the concept of ``dyadosphere'' already introduced in the static case in the Reissner-Nordstrom geometry. The energetics of the dyadotorii, their topology and embedding diagrams are compared and contrasted to the ones of the black hole.
