Overview of the Howard University Interdisciplinary Science for Middle Schools (ISMS) Program

The goals of the ISMS program are to expose science graduate students (fellows), middle school teachers, and middle school students to new perspectives and skills in STEM fields, and to create new opportunities in STEM fields for all participants. The fellows and middle school teachers in the program create and use science activities and curriculum modules for physical science, life science and environmental science middle school classes.
