A Measurement of the Photon Energy Spectrum in $b \to s \gamma$ Decays

ORAL

Abstract

The photon spectrum in the $B \to X_{s} \gamma$ decay, where $X_{s}$ is any strange hadronic state, is studied using a data sample of $B\bar{B}$ decays collected from 1999-2006 with the BaBar experiment. The spectrum is used to measure the partial branching fractions and the first and second moments for different $E_\gamma$ thresholds above 1.9 GeV.
