Neutrino-anti-neutrino analysis of atmospheric data

Abstract

To date all atmospheric neutrino oscillation data does not discriminate between neutrinos and anti-neutrinos. We investigate the possibility of performing an analysis using realistic hypothetical data that distinguishes neutrinos from anti-neutrinos. This allows us to examine in more detail the role of the MSW effect and CP violation. This will provide guidance for future possible experiments.
