The State of the Standard Model and Higgs Searches
COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited
Abstract
The Standard Model of particle physics successfully describes the large number of experimental measurements related to the electroweak interaction. The status of Standard Model parameters are summarized, highlighting recent results from the CDF and D0 experiments at the Tevatron $p\overline{p}$ collider. The constraints these impose on the as yet undiscovered Higgs boson are described. Recent results from the the Standard Model Higgs boson search currently underway at the Fermilab Tevatron are presented.
