Comparing binary black hole evolutions using finite difference and spectral methods

Abstract
We compare waveforms for binary black hole simulations using finite difference with adaptive mesh refinement and spectral methods with multiple domains. In both cases we use the exact same initial data, extracting waves at a fixed location and extrapolating them to infinity.
