Experimental Constraints on the Parameters of the Effective Field Theory of the Weak Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction
ORAL
Abstract
A weak interaction between nucleons is induced by the quark-quark weak interaction in the Standard Model. A description of the weak NN interaction and calculations of parity-odd observables in few nucleon systems using effective field theory (EFT) techniques is under development. I will summarize the present constraints on the weak NN EFT parameters and the prospects for further progress in experiment.
