Experiments at the Limits of the Intensity Frontier

COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited

Abstract

Experiments sensitive to very rare processes involving kaons and muons provide powerful probes for physics beyond the Standard Model. Very high intensity beams are necessary for such experiments. This talk will review the status of this class of experiments with emphasis on the plans and opportunities at Fermilab both in the near-term and later using Project X.
