Measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry in top quark pair production at the D0 experiment

Abstract

We are presenting an update of the measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry in top quark pair production in proton-antiproton collisions. The measurement is performed on events in the lepton + jets final state selected with a neural net b-tagger and reconstructed with a kinematic fitter. The new measurement will use a data set of 5.4/fb, collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron collider at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV.
