Measurement of direct photon pair production cross sections at D0

Abstract

We present a measurement of differential cross sections of direct photon pair production in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV as a function of di-photon mass, pT, azimuthal angle, and polar angle using 4.2 fb$^{-1}$ of the D0 Run II data. The results are compared with three theoretical predictions provided by RESBOS, DIPHOX and PYTHIA.
