Abstract

The CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment recorded in 2010 a total of $\sim $35/pb of pp collision data produced at the LHC at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV. In this talk we briefly describe the CMS detector and present a selection of first physics results
