Monitoring DNA double strand breaks repair protiens before and after gamma-irradiation

POSTER

Abstract

In this study, different fluorescence techniques (FCS, RICS and FRAP) are used to study kinetics and dynamics of DNA double stand breaks repair proteins before and after gamma-irradiation of mammalian cells. Diffusion and binding constants were obtained by fitting with different physical models. This work presents similarities and differences in double strand break repair response between gamma-irradiation versus laser damage.
