Measurements of beauty cross sections at the CMS experiment

ORAL

Abstract

The CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has recorded proton-proton collision data at a center of mass energy of 7 TeV during 2010. Several measurements have been made of production cross sections involving the b quark. The open beauty production cross section is presented as a function of muon transverse momentum and pseudorapidity. The mode $B \to \mu D^0 X$ is studied. Also presented is a $\Lambda_b$ integrated cross section measurement.
