Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson in the WW$\rightarrow$l$\nu$l$\nu$ final state

ORAL

Abstract

The latest results on the search for the standard model Higgs boson in the WW to two leptons plus missing transverse energy final state using the ATLAS detector are presented. 4.7 $\rm{fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions with 7 TeV center of mass energy collected at the LHC were used for this study. This search is conducted using a cut-based analysis in nine channels defined by lepton flavor and jet multiplicity. Results from recently developed data-driven methods to estimate backgrounds will be discussed. The latest results on limits on the mass of the standard model Higgs boson and significances of observed excesses will be presented.
