Measurement of \(D^0\)--\(\bar{D^0}\) Mixing with CDF

Abstract

Using CDF Run~II data from \(8.8\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}\) of \(p\bar{p}\) collisions at \(1.96\,\mathrm{TeV}\), we measure the time-dependent ratio \(R(t)\) of decay rates \(\Gamma(D^0 \to K^+ \pi^-)\) to \(\Gamma(D^0\to K^-\pi^+)\) and determine the \(D^0\) mixing parameters \(x'^2\) and \(y'\), along with the significance of their deviation from the no-mixing point \((x'^2,y')=(0,0)\).
