Double Parton Interactions in $\gamma + b/c + 2$~jet events in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.96$~TeV
ORAL
Abstract
We use a sample of $\gamma$ + heavy flavor jet + dijet events collected by the D0 detector in a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 8.7 fb$^{-1}$ of $p\bar{p}$ collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron collider, to study properties of events with double parton scattering (DPS) in single $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.96$ TeV. We describe the measurement of the DPS event fraction and the effective cross section ($\sigma_{\mathrm{eff}}$) for double parton scattering.
