Recent Theoretical Progress in Studying Quarkonia in Quark Gluon Plasma

I will review recent theoretical progress in studying quarkonia in quark gluon plasma. In particular, I will discuss the determination of the heavy quark potential in QCQ which turns out to be complex and realistic dynamical models of quarkonium production in heavy ion collisions that are based on the notion of the complex potential.
