Physics as a Platform for Teaching Innovation

Abstract
Teaching or encouraging innovation in the context of undergraduate physics has been explored in several settings in the Department of Physics at Lawrence University. The purpose, rationale, impetus, methodology, background materials, and descriptions of the different settings used in this investigation are discussed along with an assessment of the programmatic successes and challenges.
