WIMP Dark Matter

The study of particle dark matter candidates has seen a trend toward making the smallest number of assumptions on the particle physics and the astrophysics of dark matter. I will present a brief overview of how this goal is being pursued in the theory and phenomenology of weakly-interacting massive particles as dark matter.
