Quantum Information and spacetime

Recently, concepts from quantum information science such as entanglement entropy and quantum error correction are providing a fresh perspective on deep questions about the quantum structure of spacetime. I'll review these ideas and how they are influencing our thinking about black holes and holographic duality.
