Abstract
The Extreme Universe Space Observatory on the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM-EUSO) experiment is being developed for a space mission. The science objective is to locate the nearest sources of extreme energy cosmic rays by measuring the arrival directions of cosmic rays with energies \textgreater 100 EeV by observing extensive air showers from space.
