Direct proof of the Ward-like identities in split field theory

Abstract

The bosonic representation of the split field theory of the open bosonic string ghost, in the full string basis, is examined. The proof that the split field theory 3- vertex (matter and ghost) in the bosonic representation satisfy the Ward like identities is established thus completing the proof of the Bose Fermi equivalence in the split field theory formalism of the open bosonic string.
