First-principles calculation of hadronic contributions to the muon anomalous magnetic moment

I will review recent progress on a first-principles calculation of hadronic contributions to the muon anomalous magnetic moment. I will include progress on both the hadronic vacuum polarization and the light-by-light contributions and outline a path to match the precision of next-generation experiments.
