Abstract

Interactions of neutrinos and antineutrinos with nuclear material are an essential ingredient in measurements of neutrino oscillation. As future experiments aim at unprecedented precision of the parameters which govern neutrino mixing, neutrino-nuclear interactions have come under intense scrutiny and interest. This talk will describe the needs of future experiments, the unique challenges of neutrino interaction physics and summarize recent results from a suite of experiments worldwide.
