Motivation for a Search for scalar top-quark production with top quark tagging in the all-hadronic channel at 13 TeV with the CMS detector

ORAL

Abstract

Motivation behind the search for supersymmetry in all-hadronic events with missing transverse momentum using top quark tagging is presented. The search regions that include variables such as reconstructed jets, the presence of bottom or top quark candidates used for this analysis are defined for the 2016 proton-proton running period at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC. An overview of the models that are used to interpret the results are discussed as well.
