Sensitivity of Nuclear Optical Potentials to Similarity Renormalization Group Transformations

ORAL

Abstract

Recent work has shown that incorporating nonlocality in (d,p) scattering introduces sensitivity to high n-p momenta. This leads to the question of how the similarity renormalization group (SRG) impacts optical potentials. We explore the effects of SRG and other unitary transformations on simple models of optical potential.
