Julian Schwinger at Harvard before June, '67 --- remembered by a star-struck and frequently confused undergrad

ORAL · Invited

Abstract

I was an undergraduate at Harvard when Julian Schwinger received the Nobel
Prize. The following year, I took his course on Source Theory. I will
share some memories of those days, and some of my interactions with Schwinger's work and
students in the years that followed. I will also pass on some stories of
the very early days from some of my Harvard colleagues
