Numerical Relativity in the LISA era

Abstract

Gravitational waveforms generated by numerical relativity were critical to the success of ground-based gravitational wave detection. In this talk, we illustrate some of the important factors for numerical relativity as ground-based detectors improve their sensitivity and space-based detectors prepare for first light. We focus on binary black holes.
