ω photoproduction in a coupled channel approach

Abstract

The ω photoproduction off the proton is studied within a coupled channel approach which includes the γN, Nπ, Nη, Nω, Nσ, Nρ, and πΔ channels. The latter three channels effectively account for the Nππ channel. The analysis considers the currently available high-precision cross section as well as spin asymmetry data, especially from the CLAS Collaboration, including the newly reported double-polarization observables F, P, and H [P. Roy et al., arXiv:1812.02106].
