Tuning Neutrino-Nucleus Interactions for the NOvA Oscillation Measurements
ORAL
Abstract
One of the largest sources of systematic uncertainty for the NOvA oscillation measurements is from the modeling of the neutrino-nucleus interaction. By studying neutrino interactions in the NOvA Near Detector, the experiment can tune its GENIE-based simulation of neutrino events, particularly with respect to 2p2h events. The tuning procedure and observed features in the NOvA Near Detector data will be discussed.
