Abstract
Experiment E36 has recorded stopped-kaon decay data at the J-PARC K1.1BR beamline for a precision measurement of the ratio of decay widths BR(K+ --> e+ν) and BR(K+ --> μ+ν), respectively, to test lepton universality, and to search for rare decay modes producing light neutral bosons. An overview of the experiment and analysis status will be presented.
