Higgs as a tool for new physics

ORAL · Invited

Abstract

Since its discovery at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in 2012, the Higgs boson has served as a valuable tool for probing beyond-the-Standard-Model physics scenarios. In this presentation, searches for rare and exotic decays of the Higgs boson will be described, as well as searches for additional Higgs bosons predicted by extensions of the Standard Model. Recent results from the CMS and ATLAS Collaborations, using 13 TeV proton-proton collisions data from LHC Run 2, will be presented. Prospects at the High-Luminosity LHC will also be briefly highlighted.
