Signatures of modified gravity in black hole quasi-normal modes

I will be discussing advances made in black hole perturbation theory in modified theories of gravity, including searching for signatures of modified gravity in black hole quasi-normal modes. I will discuss the potential signatures in various scalar-tensor and vector-tensor theories of gravity, and how even theories that admit 'no-hair theorems' can display interesting phenomena.
