Exoplanets: Twenty-five years of discoveries

Today after the discovery of more than 4000 planetary systems, it is time to have a look back on the last 25 years. What is the future of high-resolution spectroscopy in the coming decade? With the request of follow-up measurements of Kepler, K2, TESS, CHEOPS, GAIA, PLATO \textellipsis the need for high resolution and/or Doppler spectroscopy will not be diminishing!
