Beyond standard model physics at the CERN LHC

Abstract

Recent results will be presented on searches for physics beyond the standard model from the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the CERN LHC. With the use of advanced techniques and 2-4 times more data, these results have achieved substantial improvements in their expected sensitivity . Exotic searches will include classic signatures from dijets, dileptons, and dibosons, as well as for the invisible decay of the Higgs boson to dark matter. Supersymmetry searches will include searches for the supersymmetric partners to the top quark, and to the electroweak gauge and Higgs bosons. The interpretation of these results for dark matter will also be presented.
