Hybrid Astrophysics Course and Critical Thinking

Abstract
Physics students need to become more proficient in critical thinking. We developed a lab course which will enhance students' proficiency in critical thinking. Our Astrophysics course which will be implemented at Stockton University and makes use of Stockton University's observatory as a tool in the lab assignments. The hybrid course provides students with a self-paced learning experience. The aim of the labs and course is to advance students' proficiency in critical thinking skills, literacy in the scientific method, and provide first-hand experience making astronomical observations.
