Using the Kepler Light Curves to Teach the Use of Fourier and Wavelet Analysis
POSTER
Abstract
This poster describes the use of Kepler light curve data to teach undergraduate students the use of Fourier and wavelet analysis. The techniques used in Fourier and wavelet analysis are introduced. The differences and similarities of both techniques are discussed. Examples are provided.
