Search for invisible Higgs decays in vector boson fusion at $\surd $s $=$ 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Many extensions to the Standard Model predict that the Higgs boson acts as a portal to the dark sector. In this talk I present the results of a search for invisible Higgs decays in the VBF channel using 36fb-1 of data collected by the ATLAS experiment in 2015 and 2016. I also discuss the progress of the same search using the full LHC Run 2 dataset.
