American Academy of Arts and Sciences Committee on International Scientific Partnerships

An American Academy of Arts and Sciences study of international scientific partnerships is underway with two foci: (a) Making the US a good partner in large-scale international facilities/programs and (b) facilitating partnerships with emerging scientific partners with emphasis on Africa and China. This talk will focus on large scale facilities of particular interest to physicists as well as the complexities of scientific cooperation with China.
