Results from a recent beam test of a Cherenkov prototype for SoLID

ORAL

Abstract

Prototypes of Cherenkov photodetectors for SoLID were tested in beam in Hall C at Jefferson Lab during 2020. A 4x4 array of maPMTs~ was tested with a CO2 radiator in both low and high rate configurations. A LAPPD from Incom was tested as well with both CO2 and C4F8 radiators in a low rate configuration. I will present preliminary results from these tests and I will discuss the relevance of these results for SoLID.
