The Search for Dark Matter: A Particle Theory Perspective

The existence of Dark Matter is the most compelling evidence we have for physics beyond the Standard Model. In this talk, I will review some well-motivated theoretical ideas for the origin of Dark Matter and the novel ways they can be experimentally tested.
