THE RHIC Beam Energy Scan: What Have We Learned So Far and Where to Go Next

I will try to give an overview of the key results and lessons learned from the RHIC Beam energy scan with a special focus on the search for the QCD critical point. I will further discuss what additional measurements, if any, may be needed to complete this search.
