QCD Equation of State and Phase Diagram from Holographic Black Holes

Abstract

By using the holographic model from [1], which reproduces the lattice QCD equation of state for small baryon chemical potential and predicts a critical end point, we locate the first order phase transition line, and obtain the QCD equation of state for a large region in the QCD phase diagram. We calculate the critical exponents for the holographic critical point and compare them with other critical points from the literature.
