Projected cooling in quantum spin models

Abstract
I demonstrate a proof of principle application of the quantum computing algorithm, Projected Cooling, for ground state preparation of the transverse Ising model and Abelian Higgs model in (1+1)-dimensions. I also will briefly discuss how the method can be used for lattice gauge theory models in higher dimensions
